Terms of Use

By accessing or using the Courai app (com.courai.app), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.

Courai is a social anxiety coaching application that delivers daily CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy)-based micro-challenges to help users build social confidence and expand their comfort zone.

Joining the Courai waitlist registers your interest in early access but does not guarantee immediate availability or a finalized release date. Waitlist invitations are strictly non-transferable and issued at our sole discretion. We reserve the right to modify or close the waitlist at any time.

• You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You may only create one account per person
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• You must provide accurate and truthful information when creating your account

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the app
• Share your account credentials with any third party
• Use the app for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service
• Interfere with the normal operation of the service

• Subscriptions are managed via the Apple App Store and RevenueCat
• A 7-day free trial is available for new subscribers; no credit card is required to start the trial
• After the trial period, your subscription will automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the trial period
• You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings
• Refunds are subject to Apple's refund policy and applicable consumer protection laws
• Prices are subject to change with reasonable notice

Your content: Any reflection text or journal entries you create remain your property. You grant us a limited license to store and display this content to you within the app.

Our content: All task content, coaching tips, app design, text, and functionality are owned by Courai and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content.

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

• We do not guarantee specific outcomes from using the app
• Courai is not a substitute for professional mental health diagnosis or treatment
• Results may vary between users
• We are not responsible for actions taken based on app challenges

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Courai shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability to you for any claims shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or email. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
